The Beaton Institute at Cape Breton University is the first new client of 2010
MINISIS is very happy to welcome our newest and first-ever Maritime based Canadian client. We look forward to this new partnership and are very happy to have the Beaton Institute become part of the MINISIS family.
As the first client of 2010, we thought, just like the first new year's baby, we should single out the Beaton Institute and ask, "What is the Beaton Institute?" and "What aspects of MINISIS software will they use?" For those answers we turned to Ms. Catherine Arseneau, manager at the Beaton Institute.
"The Beaton Institute of Cape Breton University is embarking upon a new era regarding its collection management and institutional development. The archives, which has been in operation since 1957, has chosen the MINISIS M2A as its system of choice. We look forward to the world-wide researcher having access to Cape Breton's documentary heritage."
A tall order, but we are certain MINISIS Inc will ensure that Cape Breton's unique and diverse culture and history will be protected and yet open for all of us to learn from.
